Anderson Surprises a Habitat for Humanity Applicant with News of a New Home
Raphaleeta is a single mom of three who has been in the process of trying to get a new home through Habitat for Humanity for a year.
“I work from home, and almost every night when I put my children to bed they're like... ‘Mom, when am I going to move so I can have my own room and have my own space?’ And as a mother,” says Raphaleeta, “I should be able to provide that comfort for my kids, but this economy and living in New York is like really difficult.”
Anderson shares some good news with Raphaleeta -- she has been accepted by Habitat for Humanity for a home.
Take a look at her in-studio surprise...
Additionally, our friends at Michaels gave Raphaleeta a $2,000 gift card to help personalize her home.

Please watch this video. I was looking at black Friday videos and saw this one of a poor man who put tapes under his shirt to help his grandson whonwas being trampled. Please do something I know you can that's why I'm sending this to you. I want to know what happened to this man and his grandson. If you notice the police don't even know how to help him or what they should do.
Thank you,
Pat Pirozzi
It's SO nice to see good people doing good things. I almost lost my faith in humanity after seeing that Hunter guy yesterday and his gang of losers on this site. Thanks so much, Anderson, for showing us that there's a lot of good in the world. Love your show, and love you! :)
Habitat-NYC congratulates Raphaleeta and welcomes her into the Habitat family! And thank you, Anderson, for including us on your show. If New York City viewers are interested in affordable Habitat homeownership, please check out our website: www.habitatnyc.org.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
