Dear Anderson. I saw your show today on conquering your fears and thought I would share my worst one. Since I can remember I have been terrified of UP escalators!!! Down escalators are no sweat. However, whether it's a boxed in dimly lit outdated escalator in a department store or a modern one suspended in air, I'm simply horrified. When I do have to get on one I have a death grip on both rails and with my feet on different steps I lean forward till I can go no further. During this aukward and humiliating event my palms sweat, my heartrate increases to alarming speeds, and I sometimes start sweating. Is this a strange fear???
