Eden Wood's 'Cutie Patootie' Performance

Six-year-old "Toddlers & Tiaras" star Eden Wood started in pageants before she could walk, and has won almost 300 titles. Her mom, Mickie, a drama school teacher, says "pageants never crossed my mind. I had noticed early on that she had a lot of rhythm and stuff. And we have a performance-based family."

ya'll trippin. dis lil gurl cute. stop making a big deal outta nuthin. they just havin some fun. no it's NOT "emotional abuse" you ******* retards. how is telling ur daughter that she's pretty "abuse"? it's the complete OPPOSITE. it's actually GOOD parenting, something u ******** will never know about. they're making their daughters confident and have good self-esteem.
OMG, I honestly did not think any of the little girls were talented at all! They are adorable w/out their make up on. Why so much make up & terrible hair styles? What are the kids getting out of this in the long run? When I was little we came home from school, changed into play clothes and played outside in our neighborhoods. The kids today are totally overscheduled and over done by make up & all of the competitions. These poor kids have missed out on simply being a child. The Mothers were horrible and are trying to re-live their childhoods through glamourizing their kids. My husband and I could not BELIEVE the Mothers! The kids act way too old for their age & their movements/dancing were terrible too. Let kids be kids!
This needs to be stopped. This is nothing short of emotional abuse and child exploitation. There should be some type of regulation placed on these pageants. I'm all for a good competition regarding talent and "natural" beauty. Unfortunately the little ones on the show were not talented or beautiful The caked on make-up and thousand dollar outfits I think is referred to as over compensation. These mother's should be admonished for what they are doing to children.
I challenge anyone with a beautiful and truly talented daughter to participate in one of these pageants without the trashy garb and make-up. Once this type of contestant starts winning things will change to a more wholesome child friendly competition.
The one thing no one mentioned, but is on my mind regarding this subject, is why don't the judges stop the nonsense and just hold a beauty contest if they want to judge the kids beauty. No make-up, no fake anything, just a pretty baby contest or beauty and talent contest without the crap these mothers are participating in. I think the judges and the folks who put this all together are to blame. Just judge the kids the way they are.

SHAME SHAME TO HER MOM REALLY THAT'S NOT CUTE AT ALL I'M JUST SAYING! TRULY THAT CAN'T BE HER CLAIM TO FAME. SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT SHE HAS DONE TO HER DAUGHTER! THE SAD PART IS MOMMY DEAREST DOESN'T THINK ANYTHING IS WRONG WITH IT. THAT HAS BROKE MY HEART!!! GROW UP MOM STOP LIVING YOU DREAMS THROUGH YOUR KID/KIDS
