Lynn discovered that her husband, John France, married another woman in an extravagant Disney World-themed wedding, while he was still married to her.

I read a few of the previous comments but what struck me the most about the letter from his attorney is that he never addressed the fact the man is a bigomist among whatever else he is! That is a charge in itself that he should be incarcerated on. I went to school with a girl who was charged & jailed for that! The judicial system is a joke, no wonder people do the evil they do, they are never held accountable for their actions!
Terri - I believe you are right and it is him after comparing to their site - all the same ramblings - what a nice "son-n-law" to use her name. Everyone now gets to witness the madness Lynn has to deal with daily. I hope she does write a book and is an advocate for many other woman having to deal with maniacs like this man.
Terrie, I completely agree with you! It's about arranging a simple shared parenting plan so the boys can continue to have both parents in their lives in a consistent and positive environment and it cannot be a one-sided agreement. It is not healthy for children to live in 2 states, travel back and forth etc. To John it's all about "winning".
John does not seem to have the courage to admit any wrong doing on his end that he alone created by lie after lie after lie. Stop the lies, you stop the mess.
I would like to address Patricia a/k/a John France at times on their support page. The tone and grammar is very similar to John. I cannot guarantee this, but it is pretty high on the radar. The main focus is about two innocent boys who do not get to see their mother because John France keeps them in a man-guarded, 24/7 gated community, in another state. Parental alienation has always been the focus of the support page, as well as, supporting a woman who has to deal with being married to a bigamist. I hope the divorce goes quickly and then the custody can begin. In my opinion, custody should always come first, but then that's a problem with our family court systems. Please disregard the vulgar words and judging of innocent supporters. I am a real person, and that's why it's hard for John France and Amanda's family to deal with. People do care and many of us are sick of, and attempting to change, the power games these men play when children are involved. It's abuse what has happened to these children. Keep supporting!

Thanks you Anderson for bringing this topic on! With that being said and maybe its just me but I find it repulsive that this "mother in law" commented on this site supporting this obvious socialpath and degrading the mother of the children. I have followed this story from time to time since I read about it and supporter of her site. To support a person who is in his 60's dating your daughter in her early 20's who is married with children - letting her marry him when you were told he was married - stealing the boys - will not let thier mom see them until she signs a paper they are not married to stay out of trouble etc. I know he has other children from what I read and they do not support him. He had an affair with an assistant in her TEENS while married to someone else you must belive everything you are told. I hope Lynn France is able to get what she deserves - a fair child custody order and divorce. Good luck and Anderson keep up the great stories that need to be out there you brought alot of woman forward with heartbreaking stories and survived! You will too Lynn.

Sorry Patricia, don't want to argue with you but again I'm not understanding your viewpoint. Here are some basic facts of Facebook since this what you are choosing to debate.
I looked at it and the number is 75, not 2. I'm assuming FB only updates every few days.
Just to be very clear, Facebook allows only one personal profile per person. Facebook takes this very seriously and they will terminate (and can prosecute) any account that tries to hack the system. If they didn't do this, they'd be overrun with scams (which they have plenty of). When you create your FB account, you have to verify it with a mobile phone number text reply. If a mobile phone is already in use, you cannot create a second profile. I doubt Lynn France has 4500 cell phone numbers or even 5.
The "likes" number is per profile and is not the same as impressions. I manage a nonprofit site and impressions are for admins only to view how many people visit a page or topic, not the number of profiles following the page. People can visit a page without liking it and it will show up in impressions.
All of this info can be found on the Facebook Help Center. If you do suspect someone is using multiple accounts, you can report the person to FB help center and they will internally investigate immediately.
And as a common sense point of view, if someone created 4500 profiles (with 4500 different mobile numbers), they'd have no friends because most people wouldn't accept an unknown/fake friend request.

I watched this show yesterday and it's disappointing hearing about how many women have similar stories. I was also in a relationship with a sociopath but luckily I got out before I was married or had kids with him.
Mr France definitely demonstrates the signs a sociopath- someone that believes what they say is the ultimate truth, manipulates the people around them, and has no empathy for others. I also googled this guy and found that he had spent time in prison for fraud. It's just too bad that the court doesn't assign a temporary custody order for the children until the divorce is figured out. The children should be the primary concern.
Also, in response to Patricia who is saying that Mrs France has 100s of profiles, I just checked the fb page and they have 4500+supporters, it's obvious people relate to her and wish her the best. Calling a mother "evil" for wanting to be with her children, divorce her husband, and move on with her life, does not make sense. I'm sure she feels desperate that this is happening and media is a great avenue to bring this issue to light. Most mothers would not want their daughter to marry a man 35 years older which was started by an affair.
I hope the children are young enough where they will not be affected by this extreme case of parental alienation.
Just because John states they aren't married, does not make it so. I can state that I'm the Queen of England, but that doesn't make it so. If Lynn has proof that they are married, Mr. John France is up fecal creek because bigamy is not a simple crime...and since Florida law clearly states that if the second marriage had taken place ANYWHERE but Florida, Mr. France would not be charged with bigamy in Florida, but since the Magic Kingdom is in FLORIDA, Mr. France will likely be screwed and not enjoy it.
