Vote: Name the Sloth from Friday's Show

After the "Pet Extravaganza" show last Friday, we asked our audience to help name the sloth that surprised Anderson on the show.

We had an overwhelming response with suggestions from nearly 1,400 people, but we've narrowed the final vote to 10 names. Pick your favorite to become this baby sloth's permanent name.

I think you missed the ideal name by limiting the above 10 from which to choose. YOU, Anderson, named him (her) when the two of you first met on your show: "It's INCREDIBLE" was your response...so...would it not be perfect to call him (her)"Incredible"?

The first name I thought of when I looked at that darling animal was MOCHA. Cooper would be a good name too if a male.

I live in St. Petersburg Florida and worked in the same plaza where this pet store is located. Pet Safari has a back room where the owner keeps the sloths. I have seen them many times and have pictures somewhere. I am not a fan of pet stores but decided to go to this one because they have a male primate and being from New England it is not every day that I get to see a monkey. The baby sloth is very cute but I felt bad that it was living in such a small space.

Has the contest ended to name the baby sloth? Did SloMo win as it appears on the vote tally? I submitted that name (and I imagine a lot of other people did too) but I'm curious as to the final outcome. Thanks for any information.

I think Pogo is cute, after the hedgehog of the old funnies.

I guess I'll go for Pokey but "EDIN" is better since he lives in Dunedin and his habitat is garden-like.

Since the Mother is "Baby" I liked "Baby Pebbles" for the little one.

How about Little Eric Holder. Take a look, isn't there an uncanny resemblance?

I was going to suggest 'Chewie' as a shorter version of Chewbacca. But I see it's already there. Too bad it looks like Slo-Mo is winning. lol
