Established by Amy’s family and friends, the Amy Winehouse Foundation (AWF) will stand alongside Amy’s music as her legacy.
The foundation will benefit young people in the UK, US and around the world.
Amy’s father, Mitch, described the foundation's goals. “We want to give money to projects that make a direct difference. So if a charity sends disabled children on holidays, we want to know how much money they would need to send twice as many and work with them to make an impact. It is a source of great comfort to know that Amy would be proud of this and right behind it.”

AWF officially launches on Amy’s birthday, September 14, but you can donate now. You can make a donation if you are a US or UK resident.

typo= Dr's have no problem writting prescriptions drugs to anyone who wants them or needs them but they need to be monitored while taking them..
9/12/11 My prayers to Amy Winehouses's Family. It's a terrible thing to watch anyone go through addiction, it's heart breaking. The Dr's have no issued writting prescription's for anyone while they make tons of money, that is where everything needs to start to control how & why a person becomes addicted it's not only persoanl issues.. As a mother my prayers are with you... So sorry
